The Vision

Building a new generation of Japanese disciples equipped to serve the church, while simultaneously supporting the existing church.

A Great Commission

In Matthew 28:18-20, Jesus commanded his disciples to “Jesus came near and said to them, “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

This commandment is also given to us, from neighborhoods to nations, our Lord wants to see his Gospel proclaimed and lives transformed.

A Blinded People

In 2 Corinthians 4:4, Paul tells us “In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.”

The Japanese people have a long history of independence and resistance to foreign cultures and religion, but I want to see this blindness removed and the Gospel embraced.

A Multiplication Movement

In 2 Timothy 2:2, Paul commanded to Timothy: “and what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also.”

Four generations of disciples are seen, Paul, Timothy, Timothy’s Disciples, and those that come after. It’s my mission to see a multiplication movement take root in Japan, one disciple, and one church at a time.

Only one life, ’twill soon be past, Only what’s done for Christ will last.
